MISSION STATEMENT:

Barnstable Newcomers is an organization open to residents of the seven villages that make up the town of Barnstable.  You may join us no matter how long you have lived in Barnstable.  You may also remain a member for as long as you want. Associate Members may live in another town, but must be sponsored by a Barnstable resident member. 

We have our general meetings at the Barnstable Senior Center on the third Wednesday of September, October, November, February, March and April at 7:30 pm.   Various and entertaining programs are planned by our Vice President.   In October, December, January and May we have special events such as our Pot Luck Supper/Crazy Whist Evening, a Holiday Party, a Dine-Out Dinner, and a social evening.

Core to our organization are our Activities where members with like interests get together on a more frequent basis. From bowling to movies, from travel to dining, see the activity listings for the specifics of the groups on our websites. We can also start new activity groups when there is sufficient interest.   

We currently have over 200 members, dues are only $15 per year, and we look forward to meeting you and having you join in the fun.  It is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and share experiences with them.
